Jamshedpur traders to stall foodgrain consignments

Jamshedpur, May 15: Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) Sunday announced that the traders of Kolhan would not order any consignment of foodgrains from tomorrow. It gave a clarion call to all traders of the districts to join the protest against Mandi tax imposed by the state government. SCCI president Vijay Anand Moonka chaired a meeting of traders today. It was unanimously decided to oppose the Mandi tax and stop bringing in fresh consignments of foodgrains with the view to mount pressure on the state government.
