Jamshedpur: Trader concocted story to avoid quarrel with wife

Jamshedpur, June 25: Jagdish Sethi, a resident of Mayurbhanj, Odisha, lodged an FIR in the police station near Chakdi Chowk under Kowali police station of East Singhbhum, creating a false story of loot.

However, he could not hide the lie in front of the police and himself explained the whole story to the police. In fact, Jagdish, a resident of Jambani in Mayurbhanj district of Odisha, used to come every Saturday to sell goats at the Haat Bazar in Chakdi. Even before coming to Haat Bazar, Rs 20,800 kept with him fell.

Due to the fear of his wife, he made up a false story and told the police that he was going to his home at 12 noon on Saturday when six people came and robbed him of money showing fear of weapons.

In interrogation by the police, Jagdish told that he used to buy goats in the market and sell them at a higher price, but his money fell before going to the market. To avoid his wife’s quarrel, he created a false story.
