Jamshedpur, Nov 2: In a meeting held at the Baridih Legislative office of East Jamshedpur MLA Saryu Roy, it was decided that World Children’s Day would be celebrated as ‘Bal Mela-2023’ at the Children’s Ground in Sidhgora. The Children’s Fair will be inaugurated at 4 pm on Monday, November 20 and will conclude at 6 pm on Friday, November 24.
Chairing the meeting, Saryu Roy said that letters had been sent out to all schools in and around Jamshedpur, inviting them to participate in the ‘Bal Mela.’ Fun and educational games have been planned for the Fair. The invitation letters have been signed personally by MLA Saryu Roy.
The participating students for all competitive events have been divided into six groups. Students of classes I and 2 will be featured in Group A, Classes 3 and 4 (Group B), classes 5 and 6 (Group C), classes 7 and 8 (Group D), Classes 9 and 10 (Group E) and Classes 11 and 12 (Group F).
Those present in the meeting included SP Singh, Rajesh Kumar, Sudhir Singh, Raj Singh, Somnath Banerjee, Shyam Kumar, Hareram Singh, Ramanshu Bhargav and Abhay Singh among others.
