Jamshedpur, November 2: A 17-year-old teenager Irshad Ali, resident of Gauri Shankar Road under Jugsalai police station, committed suicide by hanging himself.
Irshad’s body was found in the room of the house. The family members came to know about the incident when they went to his room on Thursday morning. The family members removed Irshad from the noose and took him to the hospital, where after examination the doctor declared him dead.
Police reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. Irshad was the third among four brothers. He was a class 10 student in a school in Jugsalai. Family members told that Irshad was going to appear for matriculation examination this year.
Just a few days ago, elder brother Dilshad had hernia operation. Because of this, only mother and Irshad were present at home, all the other members were in the hospital. On Wednesday night, Irshad came home, had dinner and went to sleep in his room. When he did not wake up to go to school in the morning, his mother went to his room only to find Irshad’s body hanging in the room.
