Jamshedpur, Sept 12: The 6th Jharkhand State Chess Championship of the Deaf 2025, for both Open and Women’s sections, will be organized by the Jharkhand Sports Council of the Deaf at the Tata Steel Chess Training Centre, JRD Tata Sports Complex, Jamshedpur on September 13 and 14.
The tournament director is Manish Kumar Singh and IA Jayant Kumar Bhuyan. IA Chandan Kumar Prasad is the Chief Arbiter of the tournament, which will feature 30-minute each rapid time control per player.
A total of 37 participants will compete, including 32 in the Open section and 5 in the Women’s section. Players from Carmel Bal Vihar, Giridih, Dhanbad, Palamu, Ranchi, Jamshedpur, and Godda will partcipate in the championship, which will conducted in Swiss-System and Round Robin formats.
