Ranchi-Howrah Vande Bharat to run via Tatanagar

Jamshedpur, July 12: The Ranchi-Howrah Vande Bharat Express train is set to run via Tatanagar, according to railway officials. The Indian Railway Time-Table Committee has finalized the route for this train, which has been forwarded to the Ministry of Railways for approval. Following the ministry’s clearance, the announcement of the date and time will be made.

Member of Parliament Sanjay Seth has expressed his intention to commence the operation of the Ranchi-Howrah Vande Bharat Express train, following the success of the Ranchi-Patna Vande Bharat Express route. The implementation of this train on the Howrah route is expected to benefit individuals from various backgrounds, particularly businessmen and students who rely on punctuality to fulfill their tasks.

According to reports, the Ranchi-Howrah Vande Bharat Express train is scheduled to depart from Ranchi at 5:20 am, arriving in Howrah at 11:55 am. Conversely, it will depart from Howrah at 3:30 pm, reaching Ranchi at 10:10 pm. The total duration of the journey between Ranchi and Howrah will be 6 hours and 25 minutes.

The train will traverse through stations- Muri, Jhalda, Purulia, Barabhum, Tatanagar, Ghatshila, Chakulia, Jhargram, and Kharagpur before reaching Howrah. Although specific information regarding the fare has not been disclosed yet, sources suggest that the fare for this train will be approximately 30% higher than that of a regular train. The final fare structure will depend on the response received. Notably, the Railway Board recently announced a reduction of up to 25% in AC Chair Car and Executive Class fares for several Vande Bharat trains.
