Jamshedpur: Tinplate Recreation Association grade revised

Jamshedpur, September 24: The pending grade revision agreement of the employees of Tinplate Recreation Association was signed between the union and the management on Friday.

As per agreement, the salary of the employees was increased by a minimum of Rs 4875 and a maximum of Rs 5176. The average increase in the salary of the employees was 4962. The said agreement is for five years, the period of which will be from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2026.

 The grades of the employees of Tinplate Recreation Association were pending with effect from July 1, 2021, which was settled.

According to the agreement, the basic salary of the employees was increased by Rs 1778 while  LTC increased by 3000, uniform maintenance allowance increased by 700.

Apart from this, many other facilities of the employees have also been increased, mainly after retirement, medical facility will be provided to the employee and his wife in Tinplate Hospital for life.

Medical facility will be provided to the employee’s son till the age of 25 years and to the unmarried daughter during the service. Rs 50,000 group link insurance will be done for each employee.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the management by chairman of Recreation Club Rajesh Kumar, secretary N Swaminathan, treasurer Dhritrupa Chatterjee and VSN Murthy and on behalf of the union, Rakeshwar Pandey, president of The Hotel Canteen and Restaurant Workers Union, vice president Sanjeev Srivastava, general Secretary Dadan Singh and committee member Praveen Kumar Das.

It is to be known that the employees of Tinplate Director Bungalow, Guest House, GT Hostel and Recreation Club come under the Tinplate Recreation Association.
