Jamshedpur: Three thieves caught red-handed in Sundernagar

Jamshedpur, Aug 17: Three persons were allegedly caught red-handed while stealing goods from a roadside betel shop in Sundernagar in the early hours of Wednesday. Stolen goods were also reportedly recovered from their possession.

Sources said the theft took place in the shop of one Raju Singh situated at Sundernagar Chowk beside Sundernagar police station. The shop owner and his family were fed up with the frequent thefts taking place every now and then. They were relieved when the thieves were caught by a mob comprising local residents, sources said.

The accused persons were handed over to police.

Police officials said an investigation was on to find out if more people were involved in the thefts.
