Jamshedpur: Three overloaded trucks carrying sand seized on NH

Jamshedpur, Dec 17: A team led by the Circle Officer of Dhalbhum Sadanand Mahato seized three trucks reportedly overloaded with sand in a checking drive on the National Highway near Kokpara Toll Gate late yesterday night. The vehicles were illegally carrying sand, said the CO.

The CO said the truck drivers could not produce the relevant documents during the checking. He said the checking drive was held following the directive of Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav.
