Jamshedpur, April 8: The Court of First Class Judicial Magistrate Alok Kumar acquitted three persons accused of embezzling Rs 19,600 from the Adivasi Jankalyan Samiti High School in Ulidih, Mango, 13 years ago. The accused including school founder Manohar Kumar Ghosh, teacher Raman Kumar Ghosh, and accountant Bir Singh Kundal, were acquitted due to lack of evidence.
The case emerged when the school secretary alleged irregularities in the withdrawal of funds from the school’s bank account during a financial audit. However, the court found no substantial evidence to support the accusations.
Expressing relief at the court’s decision, the school founder emphasized that justice had been served, asserting that the accusations against him were false.
