Jamshedpur, Sept 23: Kanhaiya Lal Rai, caretaker of Kachahari Baba Mandir who also tends to cows, has lodged a complaint with the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) stating that he has been receiving death threats. Rai mentioned that a year ago, lawyer Shriram Dubey took two cows from the temple had not returned them since. When the Mandir caretaker asked for the return of the pair of cows, he was threatened with dire consequences. He said that complaints had been lodged with the SDPO and in the Bistupur police station, but no action had ensued. Kanhaiya Lal Rai further alleged that on Friday, three lawyers had threatened him while asking him to withdraw the complaint against Shriram Dubey or face dire consequences.
