Jamshedpur, Dec 5: Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and Lalu Yadavs son Tejaswi Yadav today campaigned for Grand Alliances JMM candidate Sanjiv Sardar at Bagbera Sidhu-Kanhu Ground claiming that BJP was fighting for a lost cause and would not be able to form a government in Jharkhand. He said that the BJP momentum would run out of gas in the 2019 Assembly polls. The people of Jharkhand have had enough and now want a change. They have decided to support the opposition Grand Alliance.

Tejaswi urged the residents of Bagbera a majority of whom have their roots in Bihar, to vote for the Grand Alliance partner and JMM candidate Sanjiv Sardar and assured them that if it (Grand Alliance) came to power, the Bihari settlers in Jharkhand would also reap a fair share of benefits under a new state government.

Taking a swipe at BJP, the former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister said, In the course of the last elections, Rajnath Singh had, at this very ground that nobodys house would be broken and just 10 days after the elections, houses were razed. Bagbera has majority of Bihari residents and they will play a vital role in the outcome of Potka constituency results. He further stated that JMM and Congress would form a government in Jharkhand. Among the priorities would be completion of the long pending water supply project in Bagbera and an assurance no residential construction would be removed.
