Jamshedpur, August 28: Tata Steel Sports Department organised Inter Divisional Football Tournament (Men) during August 26-28 at the Armoury Ground and Tinplate Sports Complex.
Chief Guest Merlyn Ferdose Anklesaria, Head Tata Steel Corporate Communication (Event management &Protocol) graced the occasion.
The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from a total of 270 participants from 19 units of Tata Steel.
In a display of exceptional skill and sportsmanship, the team from Shared Services emerged as the winner, showcasing their prowess and determination, whereas team of Steel Manufacturing bagged Runner up position. Tata Steel Kainganagar team emerged as the 2nd Runner up in this tournament.
Tata Steel’s commitment to promote sports and fostering a spirit of camaraderie among its workforce was evident throughout the tournament. The event provided an excellent platform for employees to showcase their skills in the game and foster a healthy competition.
