Jamshedpur, September 5: Five teachers were felicitated at a district level program for their outstanding contribution in education at a program held to mark teachers day at the district collectorate.
Assistant teacher BPM Plus Two School Burmamines, Anju Kumari, Sunil Kumar Bera incharge principal Upgraded High School Chakulia, Sanjeev Kumar Ghoshincharge principal Upgraded High School Kerukocha, Shiv Shankar Polai, In-charge Headmaster, Upgraded Middle School Khejuria, Chakulia, Rajendra Kumar Karna, In-charge Principal, Primay School Lupungdih, Jamshedpur-1 was honored by the senior officials of the district administration.
OP Singh, teacher of Middle School, Dobhapani Jamshedpur, was also honored today for his excellent work in Panchayat elections.
Deputy Commissioner, Vijaya Jadhav, while congratulating the teachers who were honored, said that surely these teachers have drawn a line in the field of education for other teachers, due to which this honor is being given.

12 students who excelled in the Annual Secondary / Higher Secondary Examination 2022 organized by Jharkhand Academic Council, Ranchi were also felicitated by the senior officials of the district. The intermediate toppers who were felicitated include, Bulti Gorai, Jamshedpur Women’s College, Faculty of Arts, Megha Kumari, Tribal $2 High School, Sitaramdera, Faculty of Commerce, Sumit Mahto, SS Plus 2 High School, Patamada, Faculty of Science matric toppers
