Jamshedpur teacher Shipra Mishra receives National Award

Jamshedpur, Sep 5: President Droupadi Murmu on Monday felicitated Shipra Mishra, teacher of Kadma Tata Workers Union High School with National Teachers Award for her contribution in the field of education on the occasion of National Teachers’ Day. The award was presented during an event in New Delhi.

Shipra who received the award for her contribution in innovative teaching and contributing to the development of her school is one of the youngest teachers to receive the award. A check of Rs 50000 and a citation was given as a reward. On this occasion, a video related to the innovation made by the teacher Shipra Mishra and her contribution in the educational development of the school was also shared and exhibited in Gyan Bhawan.

President Murmu presented the National Teachers’ Award to 45 teachers from across the country for their work in the education sector. President Murmu said science, research and innovation are the basis of development in today’s knowledge economy.

Shipra Mishra has done a lot to bring the school on national map. She uses innovative ways to make science studies interesting for her students and also keeps them busy in various school activities. She teaches science in easiest possible ways and also uses unique methods to enhance interest of students in science. A theme park made of plastic bottles has been set up in her school. MHM lab was also opened in the school.

DC praises National award winning teacher

Jamshedpur, September 5: The National Teacher Award was presented to Shipra Mishra, a teacher of Tata Workers Union Plus Two High School, Kadma Jamshedpur from  President of India Draupadi Murmu at a function held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

Describing it as a proud moment for the district, Deputy Commissioner,  Vijaya Jadhav while congratulating and wishing teacher Shipra Mishra said that she has certainly made the entire district proud. It may be noted that she is the only teacher from Jharkhand to receive the National Teacher Award this year.
