The Circle Officer  Jamshedpur  has prepared his report for the verification of the land for the sub-station at Moharda Odia School Ground.

Jusco will get the clearance from the Additional Deputy Commissioner’s office in a day or two.

JUSCO officials informed in the meeting that the work of construction of sub-stations for Chhayanagar-Chandinagar, Nirmalnagar is in progress. The site has been identified and cooperation has been sought from the district administration for the construction of sub-station at the said site.

On the initiative of Jamshedpur East  MLA Saryu Rai, the work of construction of compact power sub-station will be completed in Bagunnagar by the end of this month and the power capacity has been increased from 2 KVA to 10 KVA.

Saryu Roy representative talked about providing separate electricity to each house in Golmuri’s Cable Town and Cable Basti. At present, electricity is supplied here at a single point, due to which many problems have to be faced by the consumers.

Saryu Roy had given instructions to the officials from the very first meeting, on which today the officials said that the survey has been completed to provide separate electricity in Cable Town, DS Flat area. Survey is also being done for the rest of the areas. In the meeting, the General Manager of JUSCO informed that the JUSCO management had sent a proposal to the liquidator of the Cable Company for the use and maintenance of INCAB’s infrastructure in the Cable Town area, whose response has not yet been received. In this regard, it was decided in the meeting that a reminder should again be sent to INCAB. Once the proposal is agreed upon, the people of Incab  region will be made individual consumers.

Saryu Roy had put forward an important proposal in the last meeting to free the citizens from load shedding and provide zero cut power supply, on which it was decided today that the Managing Director of JUSCO and MLA Jamshedpur East would responsible for making this work a reality. A joint meeting of the present committee with Saryu Roy will be held this month itself.

Roy had said in the last meeting that when the power availability is not sufficient, in order to complete the power supply in such a situation, JUSCO should supply power at a single point in the Golmuri grid.

It may be noted that Saryu Roy, had raised the matter of arbitrariness in giving electricity connections to the citizens of the lease area by JUSCO in the Vidhan Sabha. After which a committee was formed under the chairmanship of Jamshedpur’s Electricity General Manager to provide electricity supply to all the citizens of Jusco area so that after examining it electricity supply could be provided to all the residents of the lease area.

It was informed in the meeting that the work of JUSCO’s power connection in all the high mast lights of the city is in progress.
