Jamshedpur: Tata Steel UISL issues new power tariff

Jamshedpur, Jan 13: Tata Steel UISL has issued a new power tariff for its consumers. As per the new tariff rules, the electricity consumers would get discount on online or digital payments. The consumers will have to pay extra amount for delayed payments.

As per a notice issued by Tata Steel UISL, a rebate of 1.00% shall be allowed on the billed amount for payment within the due date of the entire billed amount made either through online or any digital mode subject to maximum ceiling rebate of Rs. 250. 2. The consumer shall be provided prompt payment rebate of 2% on payment of bill, if consumer pay within 5 days. Delay payment surcharge shall be levied 4 Bank Rale+ 5.0% in 1st month. For every month or part thereof delay the rate of surcharge shall be increased by 0.5% up to Bank Rate plus 7%. Bank Rate for FY23 is 7.55% as on 1st April 2022 (1 year MCLR).
