Jamshedpur: Aman Welfare Society organized the APR Nair Open Arm Wrestling Competition for girls in Mango on Sunday. Tania and Ambar emerged as joint winners of the event. Speaking on the occasion, organizing committee president Dr. Afroz Shakeel said the competition aimed to raise awareness about arm wrestling among girls and highlight their strength and potential. A total of 38 participants competed in the event. Dr. Afroz Shakeel and Tahir Hussain jointly awarded the winners. Several dignitaries, including Rafat Ara, Hunaina Naseem, Anu Mandal, Sunil Pandey, Shahid Akhtar, Md Rizwan, and Afroz Ahmed, were present during the program, supporting the initiative to encourage girls in sports.
