Jamshedpur: The two-day golf tournament organised by Adivasi Welfare Society (AWS) at Golmuri Golf Club concluded with prize distribution on Sunday, November 12. In the girls category Swati Chakarborty won the top prize while Shakti Sharma bagged the second position. In the boys under-18 category Prakash Khemani was awarded champions trophy while RK Sinha ended as runners-up.
In men�s above 19 years category-Basukinath bagged the first position followed by Balvinder Singh of Delhi. On the occasion Dr. RN Sharma was awarded the life time achievement award by Adivasi Welfare Society. 44 participants participated in the tournament.
On the concluding day of the tournament former chief minister Arjun Munda, Tinplate company managing director Tarun Daga, KC Mehta, DP Singh and Arun Singh enjoyed a brief golf session in the morning. Chief Guest for the occasion was Sunil Bhaskaran, vice president, corporate services, Tata Steel. Also present was Joginder Singh and others.
