Jamshedpur, Jan 9: Loyola Heros produced the standout performance of the day in the Under-13 division of the Jamshedpur Super League, thrashing Armoury Red Davils 9–0 as Match Day action unfolded successfully across Under-13 and Under-15 categories.
The Under-13 matches saw several decisive results. Undefetable FC were clinical in a 5–0 win over Tata Power Alig, while JRD Furnace Red and JRD Furnace Blue registered comfortable 3–0 victories against Gyan Ganga Patamda Blue and Tinplate Rainbows respectively. Gyan Ganga Patamda Red also kept up the pressure with a 3–0 win over JRD Furnace Yellow. Tinplate Lions edged past Jamshedpur Strikers FC 1–0, Dhatkidih Football Coaching Center defeated Tinplate Tigers 2–0, and Armoury Kings, Junior Tigers Telco and JMFA Strikers FC all picked up narrow one-goal wins, underlining the competitive nature of the division.
In the Under-15 category, goals flowed freely in several fixtures. YHNAC Sonari were in imperious form, hammering Hala Madrid 5–0, while Armoury Strom Strikers registered a dominant 7–1 victory over Alpha’s FC. Dhatkidih Lion Heart blanked Armoury Recon Rover 4–0, and Dobo FC secured a solid 3–0 win against Tata Power Alig. Telco FC (Green) and Jamshedpur Football School Green also won convincingly by three-goal margins.
There were also a number of tight contests, including two closely fought draws. JFC Turf Kings and Jamshedpur Football School Blue played out a goalless stalemate, while Jamshedpur Strikers FC and Armoury Pheonix Platoon shared points in a 1–1 draw. Several matches were decided by fine margins, with Junior Tiger Telco, Tinplate Tiny Tiger, Kishore Sangh Kadma and Dhatkidih JFC Iron all clinching 1–0 victories.
The Jamshedpur Super League continues to provide a strong competitive platform for young footballers, with each match day reflecting the depth, intensity and growing standard of grassroots football in the city. The league action is set to intensify further as teams push for consistency and points in the days ahead.
