Jamshedpur: Summer fun at JUSCO School South Park

 Jamshedpur, May 13: JUSCO School South Park organized its much awaited summer camp ‘SUMMERFUN@JSSP 2022’ for the students of UKG to grade 3 on May 9, 11 and 12. It was a fun learning experience for the students as for most of the last two academic years they were stuck at home.

A total of 400 students explored their potential and expressed their creativity in an array of activities designed by junior and primary school teachers.

Students were exposed to wide range of skills and activities including- Dance, fork painting, fun games, origami, storytelling, life skills, balloon volleyball, paper plate craft, vegetable printing, zumba, best out of waste, potli bag decoration, yoga dance, popsicle art and fridge magnets.

The students enjoyed the dance and zumba as it increased their self-confidence and belief.

It is worth mentioning the students decorated potli bags and gifted it to their mothers on Mother’s Day.

“Such platforms offer students the opportunities to learn and develop skills like painting, craftwork, dance, zumba which brings out their hidden talent,” said School Principal, Mili Sinha.

Gurmeet Kaur , Vice Principal, Vijeta Panda, Junior School Coordinator, Tami Sikdar, Senior School Coordinator supported the teachers in making the camp successful.

School teachers and staff ensured the camp went on smoothly.

Parents said that such camps offer stimulating activities that engage the body and mind of children, and also help them to learn the importance of nutrition which helps them to improve their eating habits.
