Jamshedpur SSP visits adopted village

Jamshedpur, Feb 5: East Singhbhum SSP M. Tamilvanan on Friday visited Dalapani village near Dalma hill area and met villagers at a chaupal (rural meeting place) and listened to their grievances sitting on the ground and noted each of their complaints.

The SSP assured to take up the problems soon and for opening of a library for students in the village at the earliest.

Significantly, SSP has adopted the Dalapani village which falls between Dimna Chowk in Mango and Ghatshila. While city SP Subhas Chandra Jatt has adopted Sari village in Patamda and traffic DSP has adopted Chimti village in Bodam.

The village mukhiya and panchayat raj officials informed SSP about problems of drinking water, education, irrigation and health.  The SSP also saw the defunct tubewells. The SSP assured that health camp would be organised in the village on a priority basis, repairing of tubewells and motor pumps, arrangement of stationeries and bags for school students. The SSP also said that talks would be held with administrative officials of concerned department to ensure that old age and disabled pensions reach the beneficiaries in time.
