Jamshedpur, Sept 11: Newly appointed East Singhbhum District SSP, Kaushal Kishore, on the second day of taking over charge of office, held a meeting with Sub-Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs) and police officials from the Ghatsila Sub-Division on Monday, September 11. In reply to a question from journalists, the SSP expressed his expectation of cooperation from the district residents. “I urge them to share information or report antisocial or criminal issues on the WhatsApp number provided or report the same at the nearest police station. Prompt action will be taken and reported issues will be resolved at the earliest,” SSP Kaushal Kishore assured.
While discussing the law and order scenario in Ghatshila, Kaushal Kishore said that possibilities for installation of CCTV cameras at vital places including market areas would be discussed with authorities concerned. He said, “This move would not only aid in maintaining law and order but also help in keeping an eye on potential trouble shooters including criminal elements.”
The informal meeting was attended by police officials including Ghatshila SDPO Kuldeep Toppo, Musabani DSP Chandrashekhar Azad, OC Vimal Kindo, other OCs and inspectors from various police stations in the district.
