Schedule of events for Sri Laxminarayan Prana Pratishtha from July 3 to July 7

Jamshedpur, June 23: Preparations are underway for the Sri Laxminarayan Prana Pratishtha Mahayagna, set to take place from July 3rd to 7th at the Sri Laxminarayan Temple in Cable Town. The planning phase kicked off with an important meeting chaired by Saryu Roy, MLA of Jamshedpur East and patron of the temple committee. Attended by prominent members from Cable Town and surrounding areas, the meeting focused on outlining the meticulous arrangements required to ensure the Mahayagna proceeds smoothly and with divine grace.
The event schedule spans five days of elaborate rituals and ceremonies. On July 3rd, activities will commence with Jal Yatra, Panchang Pujan, Brahmin Varan, Mandap Pravesh, Bedi Nirman, and Jaladhiwas. The following day, July 4th, will feature invocations of deities, worship rituals, recitations, Dhannadhiwas, Dhritadhiwas, Gandhadhiwas, and an evening Bhajan Sandhya.
Moving to July 5th, the program includes the worship of invited deities in the pavilion, accompanied by rituals such as Havan, Pushpadhivas, Paladhivas, Vastradhivas, Aushadhyadhivas, and Mishtanadivas. July 6th continues with worship ceremonies for invited deities, Paath, Havan, Devsnapan, a city tour, and concludes with Shayyadhivas. The final day, July 7th, marks the culmination with Japa, Pran Pratishtha of idols, Poornahuti, and the distribution of Bhog to attendees.
All participants and devotees present at the meeting expressed their dedication to ensuring the success of the Mahayagna. Responsibilities were allocated among members to oversee various aspects of the event, aiming for a flawless execution and meaningful observance of the rituals.
