Jamshedpur: SPIC MACAY brings ‘Rhythms of Rajasthan’ to Hill Top School

Jamshedpur, Dec 13: To increase awareness and knowledge about different aspect of the rich Indian heritage and culture among students, SPIC MACAY, the Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture amongst Youth in collaboration with Hill Top School organised ‘Rhythms of Rajasthan’ in the school premises on Tuesday.

The very versatile Sri Bhungar Kha Manganiyar and troupe enthralled one and all present with their power-packed Rajasthani Folk Song and Kalbeliya Dance performances.

Apart from Bhugda Kha the troupe comprised Sakhi Kha, Talaab Kha, Sabeer Kha, Bhuta Kha, Mustak Kha, Samdha and Aarti.

The audiences at Hill Top School were left speechless after the high-energy renditions and vibrant folk dances that recreated the Rajasthani spirit in all vigour.

“Hill Top School goes all out to enrich the quality of formal education by increasing awareness about the different aspects of Indian heritage. It is no wonder that SPIC MACAY and Hill Top School should collaborate in the interest of the impressionable minds,” said a press communiqué.
