Jamshedpur, April 25: The Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has embarked on a proactive initiative to promote voter awareness in anticipation of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. In a bid to educate and engage the public, the Chamber has unveiled a series of posters, stickers, and voter selfie stands adorned with compelling slogans.
The campaign was inaugurated by Deputy Development Commissioner Manish Kumar, alongside Chamber President Vijay Anand Moonka and General Secretary Manav Kedia, among other dignitaries. As part of the launch event, Chamber members collectively pledged to exercise their voting rights in unison.
Addressing the gathering, Deputy Development Commissioner Manish Kumar emphasized the pivotal role of voting in steering the nation towards progress and meeting the aspirations of its citizens. He stressed that voting is not merely a right but a solemn duty that every individual must fulfill.
President Vijay Anand Moonka underscored the Chamber’s commitment to social responsibility and civic engagement. He announced that voting in Jamshedpur is scheduled for Saturday, May 25, and reiterated the importance of voter awareness campaigns, a longstanding tradition upheld by the Chamber.
The campaign aims to raise awareness among voters in Jamshedpur through innovative means, including the distribution of posters and stickers featuring the slogan ‘First voting then refreshments’. Additionally, voter selfie stands have been installed to encourage voter participation and engagement.
Moonka urged Chamber members to mobilize not only their families but also friends, acquaintances, and employees to exercise their right to vote. The Vice President affirmed that Chamber members would be provided with posters and stickers to display in their establishments, further amplifying the message of voter awareness.
