Jamshedpur, May 23: The Jamshedpur Sikh Sangat organized a spirited bike rally near the Sakchi JNAC office, demonstrating their support for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The rally, led jointly by BJP State Working Committee members Kulwant Singh Bunty, Manjeet Singh, and Satveer Singh Somu, received additional backing from prominent figures like Narendra Singh Bhatia and Joginder Singh Jogi.
Members of the Sikh community from various locales enthusiastically participated in the rally, which commenced after a gathering near the Sakchi JNAC office. The route took the rally through key areas including Sakchi roundabout, Tata Steel UISL (formerly Jusco), Bishtupur via Jugsalai, Station Road, Burmamines, Manifeet, Namda Basti, Tuila Dungri, and Golmuri Bazaar, culminating at the Khalsa Welfare Hall in number 10 Basti.
Addressing the assembled crowd at Khalsa Welfare Hall, MP candidate Vidyut Varun Mahato acknowledged the significant contributions of the Sikh community to the nation, recognizing them as warriors and fighters. He reaffirmed his commitment to serving the Sikh community of Jamshedpur, citing past endeavors and promising continued support in the future.
Former Vice Chairman of the Minority Commission, Gurvinder Singh Sethi, highlighted Jamshedpur’s reputation as a mini Punjab, emphasizing the community’s integral role in the city. Harpal Singh Vriddhi, AAP migrant in-charge from Chhattisgarh, also shared his perspectives during the event.
