Jamshedpur: Sibling duo donates Land to Tangrain School

Jamshedpur, March 18: In a display of philanthropy, siblings Ghasiram Majhi and Saraswati Majhi from Tangrain village have set an exemplary precedent by donating land to the Upgraded Middle School Tangrain under Potka block. The land, situated adjacent to the school, was contributed by the siblings’ late father, Lodo Santhal. The donation, encompassing detailed particulars including plot numbers and measurements, was formally handed over to the school headmaster Arvind Tiwari and management committee chairman Mangala Majhi. The ceremony, attended by villagers, school personnel, and students, witnessed the presentation of the donation letter by the donors. This act of generosity not only upholds the age-old tradition of charity but also ensures the betterment of educational facilities for the community.
