Jamshedpur, September 19: Sidgora police sent Makendra Sao, who sold ganja under the guise of a khaini shop, to jail after interrogation on Tuesday.
The police had arrested him on Monday itself. Police had recovered 104.91 grams of ganja and gogo from Makendra. However, ganja smuggler Anil Singh is absconding in this case.
Giving information, DSP Headquarters 1 Virendra Ram said that the police had received secret information that Makendra Sao was selling ganja in his khaini shop near Litti Chowk.
Anil Singh was supplying ganja to him, after which the police raided the shop. Seeing the police, Anil ran away but Makendra was arrested.
