Jamshedpur, Sep 1: Gold medalist Syed Ayub and silver medalist Kuldip Topno of 12th Jharkhand State Shooting Championship gave a courtesy visit to East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav at her office on Thursday. They thanked her for helping them get arms licence.
The DC wished the players a bright future and motivated them to perform well in national and international sports events and bring glory to the country, state and district. She said the state government was running scholarship and cash prize schemes for promoting sports and sportspersons of Jharkhand. She said the government was making efforts to provide a holistic and permanent sports ecosystem in the state.
ADM law and order Nand Kishore Lal, ADC Sourabh Sinha and district sports officer Avinash Tripathy were also present on the occasion.
