Chaibasa, Sep 1: Jharkhand state Congress executive president Geeta Koda Thursday demanded death sentence for the rapists and killers of the 14 year-old girl found dead near railway tracks in Khuntpani.
“The way the minor was raped and killed brutally by her killers is highly condemnable and no civil society can tolerate it. I seek death sentence for the culprits and ask the state government to take steps to prevent repetition of such heinous crimes,” said the MP.
The body of Pelong Banra, a class VIII student, was recovered from bushes near railway tracks close to Unchuri village of Khuntpani recently.
