Jamshedpur, July 4: The second day of the Shri Lakshminarayan Temple Pran-Pratishtha Mahayagna was marked by various religious ceremonies. The main host of the Mahayagna was Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy. Other attendees included Suraj Hembram, Pushpa Khadka, Durga Khadka, Seema Karan, Kanhaiya Jha, Rupa Devi, UK Sharma, Vinod Rai, and Bhargavi Devi.
The day’s events began with the invocation of deities in the pavilion, followed by Panchagasta Puja. Navagrah Mandal Puja, Jogini Puja, and Kshetrapal Puja were conducted.

On Friday, the third day of the Mahayagna, programmes will include the worship of invited deities in the pavilion, Agni Sthapana by churning the Arani, Paath, Japa, Havan, Pushpadhivas, Phaladhivas, Vastradhivas, Ausdhyadhivas, and Mishtanadivas.
Vinod Pandey, an organizer of the Mahayagna, highlighted the auspiciousness of temple renovation, citing the Agnipuran which stated that renovating a falling or fallen temple yielded twice the benefits of building a new one. The Mahayagna is being guided by renowned Pandit Shri Gaurikant Thakur Ji of Begusarai, with the participation of 31 Brahmins, including Vinod Pandey, Sanjeev Pandey, Raju Choubey, Ajay Tiwari, Asangh Choubey, and Nirmal Dubey.
