Jamshedpur, April 14: Mango police are searching for one Rishu Rai and his two aides in connection with the incident of firing on Anil Kumar Burman, a jeweler based in Daiguttu.
Unidentified assailants had fired on Burman on Wednesday night.
During investigation, police found out that Rishu Rai, a neighbour of Burman, was involved in the shootout. Rishu and his two friends had fired on Burman in an alley close to his shop on his way home. Rishu planned the shootout to take revenge as Anil had reportedly rebuked him before his family members over his alleged advances towards his daughter. Enraged over the incident, Rishu decided to teach Anil a lesson and waited for him when the latter was shutting his shop on the day of the incident. Rishu got a pistol from his friends to carry out his plan, police said.

Rishu had switched off the street light before firing at Anil. But Anil survived in the incident, cops said.
After the incident, Rishu fled his house. Police are searching for him and his associates.
