Jamshedpur SDSM School bids farewell to 176 passing out students, Chaman, Aastha and Ritesh bag Principal’s Award

Jamshedpur, April 24: S.D.S.M. School for Excellence organized Graduation Ceremony for Std XII students who were from the batch 2021-’22. SDSM School of Excellence, apart from the batch of Std XII passing out students saw the participation of faculty, staff members, students and parents to give a warm sendoff at the Valedictory Ceremony.

The programme was inaugurated jointly by the chief guest and Chief, Medical Services of Tinplate Hospital, Dr Rekha Singh Ganguli, and the School Managing Committee members Dr. Nirmala Shukla and Umesh Kumar.  Passing out student Coral Singh presented the valedictory speech. The school choir presented a prayer song.

The passing out students shared their views and experiences. 176 students were honoured with mementos and certificates.


Eight Special Awards were presented to the students who had excelled in their academic pursuits and other activities. The Principal’s Award recipients included Chaman Bharadwaj, Aastha Rai and Ritesh Kumar of Class XII. Principal Moushumi Das, in her address to the students, observed “You have to understand your values, create self belief, be respectful towards others and polish your leadership abilities.”

Chief Guest, Dr Rekha Singh Ganguli motivated the graduating students and wished them success  Vice-Principal, Ragini Singh along with Subject Co-Coordinators and teachers contributed towards the success of the Valedictory Function that concluded with singing of the School Anthem.
