Jamshedpur, July 18: SDO Parul Singh conducted a raid at a residence in Subhash Colony, Mochi Basti, Zone 8, under the jurisdiction of Birsanagar police station, leading to the seizure of approximately 12 kg of ganja. The raid was prompted by ongoing intelligence indicating involvement of a youth named Manish Kumar in the illicit buying and selling of ganja. Acting on verified information, the raid was carried out on Thursday in collaboration with local police.
During the search of Manish Kumar’s residence, the team discovered 12 kg of ganja concealed in a bag in one of the rooms. Additionally, cash was recovered from a drawer on the premises. Manish Kumar, the prime suspect, remains at large, prompting authorities to detain his father for questioning. Efforts are underway by the police to apprehend Manish Kumar.
