Jamshedpur, May 7: Scout master, guide captain and representatives of government and private schools held a meeting at Bharat Scouts and Guides district headquarters in Sakchi on Saturday, May 7.
The meeting was presided over by District Chairman Manoj Yadav. Secretary of East Singhbhum District Scouts and Guides, Chandramani Modi was also present.
District Organization Commissioner Naresh Kumar addressing the meeting said, during the Covid-19 all activities of Scouts and Guides in schools have come to a halt during the last two years and special efforts are being made by the District Headquarters to re-organize the activities.
Scout masters, guide captains and representatives of 27 major schools of the district were present in the meeting and put forth their issues related to scouting before the chairman. He provided solutions to the same.
School representatives also gave suggestions on how to revive activities of Scouts and Guides.
District Secretary Chandramani Modi directed the schools to deposit the registration fee at the earliest.
Secretary also informed that soon Scout Master and Guide Captain training camps for teachers will be put up.
