Jamshedpur schools to reopen from June 17

Jamshedpur: In view of soaring mercury levels, East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar Tuesday ordered closure of all government and private schools till 16th June. His order came a day after government and few private schools reopened after summer vacations. In view of scorching heat, the DC ordered closure with effect from 12th June.

Sources said several guardians and social organizations had requested the district administration to restrain city schools from reopening before 17th June.
