Jamshedpur schools to reopen from June 17

Jamshedpur: In view of soaring mercury levels, East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar Tuesday ordered closure of all government and private schools till 16^th June. His order came a day after government and few private schools reopened after summer vacations. In view of scorching heat, the DC ordered closure with effect from 12^th June.

Sources said several guardians and social organizations had requested the district administration to restrain city schools from reopening before 17^th June.
