Jamshedpur, Nov 24: Team of Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya of Telco comprising of Atul Kumar, Abhayankar Joshi, Shubham Tripathy and Rajarshi Mukherjee were crowned the champions of Director Domain Competition for National Creativity Olympiad 2014 held at MNPS on Sunday.
The two-day event organized by Institute of Engineers (India), Jamshedpur Local Centre saw participation of 18 teams from all over the country (12 teams from out location and 6 teams from Jamshedpur).
DBMS English School team comprising of Aditya Choudhary, Avinash, Shobhit Singh and Shubham Choudhary was the runners up of Director Domain Competition while St. Paul’s School of Rourkela included Raunak Chandak, Prateek Pattanayak, Rohan Rajesh Sangvi and Rajat Bhansali were third at the event while Denobili School, Dhanbad which included Sanjay Roy Chowdhury, Sumit Singh, Pranabesh Singh and Subarna Mukherjee were positioned fourth.
The results of Model Exhibition by the students of Jamshedpur Schools were also declared on Sunday were in the Junior Group : Team AECS , Turamdih comprising of Divya Kumar, Pranay Kumar Panigrahi, Aryan Raj Shaw and Sandeep Kumar mandal were at the first position. Loyola School comprising of Jayant Krishna, Satyam Pandey, Shobhit Mahato and Sumantrak Mukherjee were the runners up for the event.
In the Senior Group : DBMS English School comprising of Ayush Ratna, Divyansh, Utkarsh and J Aakash Rahul were the winners while Motilal Nehru Public School comprising of Vikash Kumar, Sanjeet Kumar Singh, Sanjeev Narayan and Purushottam Tiwary were the runners up for the event.
For the Engineering College /Polytechnic College Tulsi Mahato from Mechatronics Department, Saroj Paul from Mechatronics Department, Md.Firdosh Alam from Electronics Department and Ravi Shankar Paul from Tool & Die Department were the winners.
AT the closing ceremony Suresh Kumar , V.P , Shared Services , Tata Steel was the chief guest for the function were Amitava Bakshi , Chairman of the Institution presented welcome address. Prabal Patra org. secretary introduced the chief guest and Dr. A K Vaish proposed the vote of thanks
