Jamshedpur, Sept 16: In recognition of their significant contributions to education, the Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West honored 22 school teachers with ‘Nation Builder Award 2023’ as part of their observance of Rotary Literacy and Education Month.
The accolades were bestowed upon these educators for their remarkable efforts in enhancing the quality of education. The awards were presented by PDG Pratim Banerjee, accompanied by Assistant Governor Zone 18, Anjani Nidhi. PDG Pratim Banerjee elaborated on the Teacher Support Programme of Rotary India Literacy Mission (RILM), emphasizing that one of its key components is the recognition of exceptional teachers through the “Nation Builder Award.” These awards are granted at the Club level.
Club President Neeta Agarwal highlighted the pivotal role played by teachers in nurturing the younger generation, thus contributing to the construction of a robust and flourishing nation. She affirmed that teachers are aptly referred to as “Nation Builders.”
The success of this event was made possible through the diligent efforts of club secretary Ashok Jha, Joint Secretary Dipti Singh, Literacy Chair Kamlendu Shukla, Dr. Juhi Samarpita, Gurpreet Bhatia, and other dedicated club members.
