Jamshedpur: The Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) organized a condolence meeting to honor the late Ashok Bhalotia, former Chamber President. The event witnessed a large gathering of businessmen, entrepreneurs, and Chamber officials who came together to pay their respects to the esteemed leader.

During the meeting, SCCI President Vijay Anand Moonka expressed deep sorrow over Bhalotia’s demise, calling him a “gentle, sensitive, and fearless” individual. He highlighted Bhalotia’s significant contributions to the Chamber, dedicating crucial moments of his life to its progress. Moonka particularly recalled Bhalotia’s tenure as President during the challenging COVID-19 period, when he actively worked towards the welfare of the business community while also fulfilling the Chamber’s social responsibilities. He emphasized that Bhalotia’s dedication and loyalty had made a lasting impact, and his loss was akin to the Chamber losing a precious gem. Moonka also mentioned that, even after his tenure, Bhalotia continued to serve the Chamber, playing a key role in the renovation of Bhalotia Hall.

Former President V.K. Mehta also expressed his grief, describing Bhalotia as a hardworking entrepreneur who had left an indelible mark on the business and entrepreneurial community. Despite his success in business, he was widely recognized for his commitment to social service.
Muralidhar Kedia, another former President, lauded Bhalotia’s relentless dedication to the Chamber. He stated that Bhalotia’s work ethic set him apart among past Chamber presidents, and his contributions would continue to inspire future generations. His commitment to both business and social service made him a true role model.

Former President Rajkumar Agarwal described Bhalotia as a practical and accomplished entrepreneur whose influence extended far beyond business. He noted the overwhelming presence of business leaders at the meeting as a testament to Bhalotia’s impact. “His absence will always be felt in Chamber programs,” Agarwal said.
Former President Nirmal Kabra echoed similar sentiments, calling Bhalotia’s passing an “irreparable loss.” He praised Bhalotia’s proactive approach to working for the betterment of both the Chamber and society, emphasizing that his contributions were invaluable.

Manav Kedia also acknowledged Bhalotia’s immense contributions, stating that the Chamber would never forget his role in its progress. He affirmed that Bhalotia’s legacy would continue to inspire current and future members.
Vice President Anil Modi recalled Bhalotia as a warm, soft-spoken, and outspoken leader who upheld the spirit of philanthropy in society. He described his passing as a significant loss that would be difficult to overcome in the near future.
Vice President Puneet Kanwatia also shared his experiences of working with Bhalotia, highlighting his peaceful demeanor and humble nature. He noted that Bhalotia’s leadership qualities had left a lasting impression on him and many others.
Asia’s President, Inder Agarwal, extended his condolences, calling Bhalotia a kind-hearted individual who was beloved by the business community. He emphasized that Bhalotia’s influence would continue to be felt for years to come.
Several other Chamber members, including Secretary Bharat Makani, Anshul Ringsia, Suresh Sharma Lipu, Treasurer CA Anil Ringsia, Asia’s General Secretary Praveen Gutgutia, Ashok Goyal, and Naresh Modi, also addressed the gathering and shared their heartfelt condolences.
The condolence meeting was attended by members of Ashok Bhalotia’s family, including Gajanand Bhalotia, Arun Bhalotia, Ajay Bhalotia, and Prashant Bhalotia, among others.
