Jamshedpur: Sand ghats to be auction for third time on June 16

Jamshedpur, June 12 : Online tender will open for the third time on June 16 for three sand ghats in East Singhbhum district.

In this regard, District Mining Officer Sanjay Kumar Sharma said that two online tenders were held but the tender was canceled due to bids less than the minimum rate fixed by the government. Again for the third time, on June 16, there will be an online tender for the auction of three selected sand ghats.

He told that in this regard, on Monday, through a video conference with all the bidders, they were informed that it is not possible to settle sand ghats if they bid less than the government fixed rate. It The District Mining Officer said that the government rates have been fixed at Rs 58 per MQ for Bankata Balu Ghat, Rs 58.36 per MQ for Korea Mohanpal and Rs 57.47 per MQ for Korea Mohanpal Swarnrekha River Ghat.

Sanjay Kumar Sharma told that the area of Bankata Balu Ghat is 4.40 hectare, Korea Mohanpal’s 34.7 hectare and Korea Mohanpal Golden Line River Ghat is 40.3 hectare area. The tender will be decided by the district committee. ADC, DMO and Executive Engineer of Minor Irrigation and Road Construction Department will be members in the committee along with the Deputy Commissioner.
