Jamshedpur, June 19: The National Institute of Technology (NIT), located in Jamshedpur, is set to inaugurate its long-awaited Alumni Centre on June 20. The inauguration ceremony will mark a significant milestone for the institution, as it aims to strengthen its ties with its esteemed alumni and foster a culture of collaboration and support. NIT alumni RK Behera, executive director of RSB Transmissions (I) Ltd, will inaugurate the new centre.
The NIT Jamshedpur Alumni Centre, a state-of-the-art facility, has been designed to serve as a hub for networking, mentorship, and knowledge sharing. It will provide a platform for alumni to reconnect with their alma mater, engage with current students, and contribute to the growth and development of the institute.
The ceremony will be attended by esteemed dignitaries, including notable alumni, faculty members, and current students. The event will commence with a warm welcome address by the Director of NIT Jamshedpur, Dr Goutam Sutradhar, who expressed his excitement about the Alumni Centre’s inauguration. He highlighted the immense value that alumni bring to the institution, stating, “Our alumni are the torchbearers of our success.
