Jamshedpur, February 29: Ex-serviceman Shiv Shankar Yadav has lodged a complaint in cyber thana of being duped of Rs 5 lakh in the name of crypto currency.
An FIR has been lodged against unknown in Bistupur cyber police station.
The incident is said to have taken place between January 18 and February 21. Shiv Shankar Yadav in his complaint has said that he retired from Sonari Army Camp, first a telegraph link was added to his WhatsApp, which was in the name of Multi Capital, then someone added him to several WhatsApp group.
It was told that USDT is traded online. Trading lasts for 20 days. After placing the trade, the WhatsApp, mobile number, URL is changed, and only USDT is demanded in his account. Currently his WhatsApp group is FORTUNE CLUB SSS VIP 666 -02 and URL -ION39,XYZ.
Transaction details are available on their UID numbers 1103998 and 8830312133. Shiv Shankar Yadav says his trading account on ION, XYZ is showing 13672.95 USDT. Which is equal to 100 rupees. Thus, till now he has sent USDT worth Rs 5058.703 to his account from his apps Mudrex, Bitjet and Coindex. While their trading is still to continue till March 5. Besides, WhatsApp chatting is also being conducted with them. But they are demanding more money. In such a situation, he appealed to the police to return the money sent by him.
