Jamshedpur reports no COVID death, 33 recoveries, 38 infections

Jamshedpur, Nov 25: East Singhbhum district reported 38 corona positive cases on Wednesday, November 25. No COVID-19 death was recorded during the day.

The new positives took the Coronavirus tally to 16657. The death toll remained at 369 with no death reported in East Singhbhum district on Wednesday.

33 people recovered of the virus on Wednesday taking the total recovery to 16073 while total active cases in Jamshedpur are 215.

East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 133315 test per million in the district. The recovery rate in Jamshedpur is 97% while the mortality rate is 2.2 %.

So far in Jamshedpur 370024 samples have been collected out of which 354885 have been tested and 338228 have turned out to be negative.

On the other hand, Coronavirus tally in Jharkhand on Tuesday reached 1,08,158 as 237 new cases of Covid-19 were detected while 316 people were discharged from various hospitals across the Jharkhand. During the day 3 deaths were reported as a result of which the overall death count has reached to 958. One death each was reported from Deoghar, Hazaribagh and West Singhbhum districts.

As per the information provided by the health department the number of active cases in the state was 2163 while number of cured and discharged cases stood at 1,05,040. The total number of death caused by Coronavirus in the state stood at 958.
