Jamshedpur:�Growth of the novel�coronavirus cases is slowing down�in Jamshedpur.
21 corona positive cases were reported in Jamshedpur on Tuesday, October 20 taking the total tally to 15340. Positive tally has climbed to 15340 while the death toll has climbed to 344 with 1 death reported on Tuesday. 50 people recovered of the virus taking the total recovery to 13844 while total active cases in Jamshedpur have dropped below 1,200-mark to 1152.
The district administration spokesperson informed that 21 corona positives have been identified in the East Singhbhum district on Tuesday. East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 94556 test per million in the district. The mortality rate in East Singhbhum district is 2.2 % while recovery rate has climbed to 90%.
In Jharkhand 7 people died of the virus while 542 were reported positive on Tuesday. Two from Ranchi and one person each succumbed to the virus in East Singhbhum, Saraikela-Kharsawan, Bokaro, Dhanbad and Khunti.
The death toll has reached 843 while positive tally is around 97, 000 mark of which around 90,000 people have recovered including 605 on Tuesday. 275 people recovered of virus in Ranchi. The active cases in the state are around 6000. Jharkhand recovery rate is 92.70 while the mortality rate is 0.86 %.
