Jamshedpur records 99.3% pass rate in ICSE Class 10 exam

Shambhavee Jayaswaal Tops Nation with Perfect Score; Girls Outperform Boys in Both Boards

Jamshedpur: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) declared the results for the ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) exams, with East Singhbhum district once again delivering outstanding performance.

ICSE 2025: 99.3% Overall Pass Rate

The district recorded a 99.3% pass percentage in the ICSE (Class 10) exams. Of the 5088 students who appeared, 2610 were boys and 2478 girls. Girls outshone boys with a pass percentage of 99.6%, compared to 99% for boys.

An impressive 77% of the students scored more than 90%, with nearly 6% securing between 97% and 100%.

The star performer was Shambhavee Jayaswaal, a student of Loyola School, who created history by scoring 100 percent marks, becoming the national topper in the ICSE examination.

ISC 2025: 98.4% Pass Rate

In the ISC (Class 12) examinations, 4410 students appeared from the district — 2295 boys and 2115 girls. The overall pass rate stood at 98.4%, with 98.9% girls passing compared to 97.9% boys.

Girls also led the merit list in both science and commerce streams. Anushya Singh, a student of Little Flower School, emerged as the district topper, securing 99.5% marks.
