Jamshedpur records 7 mm rainfall

Jamshedpur, March 4: Jamshedpur and surrounding areas experienced a welcome relief from heat and humidity as intermittent rain swept across Jharkhand, including Ranchi and Seraikela Kharsawan. The capital, Ranchi, recorded 3.8 mm while Jamshedpur experienced 7 mm of rainfall.

Following the downpour, Jamshedpur recorded a maximum temperature of 29.4 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 18.8 degrees Celsius. The wind speed during this period ranged from 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.

According to meteorologist Dr. Abhishek Anand from the Ranchi Centre, the weather is expected to remain dry on Tuesday. However, rain is forecast for March 6 and 7 in the southern part of Jharkhand, including East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Simdega, and Seraikela Kharsawan. Subsequently, the weather is anticipated to turn dry from March 8 onwards.
