Jamshedpur, Mar 24: The Central Ram Navami Akhara Committee conducted a detailed tour of various Akhara committees in the Sonari area on Sunday, addressing concerns and ensuring smooth arrangements for the upcoming immersion procession.

During discussions, Akhara representatives put forth key suggestions to streamline the yatra. Some committees proposed shifting the starting point slightly to improve logistics, while others suggested designated slots for acrobatic performances from Ram Mandir to Aerodrome Chowk. Additionally, a proposal was made to allocate immersion numbers only to fully prepared Akharas and to prioritize those with fewer participants to maintain order.

“The procession in Sonari will be conducted on time with grandeur and discipline,” assured an Akhara committee representative. The committees also raised civic concerns, including garbage disposal, faulty streetlights and encroachments in their areas.

Central Committee President Ashutosh Singh reassured members, stating, “We are committed to resolving these issues at the earliest and ensuring better arrangements based on suggestions from all Akhara committees.”

Present at the meeting were General Secretary Bhupendra Singh, Patron Bhishma Singh, Vice President Gautam Prasad, Secretary Manish Kumar and members Vijay Wardha and Kishore Sahu, among others.
