Jamshedpur, May 6: Seraikela-Kharsawan police arrested one Shaktipado Senapati, CPO of Ram Krishna Forgings, for allegedly misbehaving with journalists and police officers near Kandra toll plaza, on Thursday. They sent him to MGM Hospital after he complained of stomach pain and high blood pressure.
Seraikela-Kharsawan police arrested Senapati from Odisha. After his arrest, Senapati complained of sickness in the late hours. He had assaulted two journalists Manish Kumar Lala Das and Anoop Mishra and tried to snatch their camera and manhandle them.
The journalists had staged protest outside Kandra police station to demand his arrest.
