Jamshedpur, May 6: A 20 year-old youth committed suicide by hanging self to death in Hayatnagar, Mango, late Thursday night, police said.
Cops said the deceased, identified as Mohammad Tausif, was found hanging from the ceiling of his room. The youth’s family had gone to a relative’s place on an invitation. But Tausif chose to stay at home on the pretext of ill-health, said Mohamamd Samir, elder brother of the deceased.
Police sent the body of the deceased to MGM Hospital for postmortem examination. They said they were probing in to the possible causes of suicide.
